Your data is one of your most valuable assets. When you bring us in, we treat it that way, from the first call to the final handover. Here is how we keep it safe.
Your data stays in your environment
- Wherever possible, we build reports, models and pipelines inside your own Microsoft tenant, so you keep full control of your data.
- We avoid copying data to our own devices. If an extract is unavoidable, it is kept to the minimum, encrypted, and deleted when the work ends.
Access on your terms
- We ask for named, individual accounts, never shared logins, so every action is traceable.
- We follow least privilege: we only request the access a project needs, and it is removed when the work ends.
- We fit around your security setup, whether that is VPN, multi-factor authentication, conditional access or IP allow-listing.
Secure by design
- Row-Level Security and role-based access are built into reports and semantic models as standard.
- We use encrypted connections to your data sources, and never hard-code credentials into reports, scripts or pipelines.
- Every deliverable is reviewed for both performance and security before handover.
Trusted people
- Every project is led by a Microsoft-certified consultant with over 10 years of experience working with sensitive data.
- Any associate we bring in is UK-based, vetted, and signs a non-disclosure agreement before seeing any client data.
- We are happy to sign your NDA, or provide ours, on every engagement.
Passwords and devices
- Credentials are kept in an encrypted password manager, and are never sent by email or chat in plain text.
- Our devices use full-disk encryption, multi-factor authentication and up-to-date security patches.
Compliance
- Prestige BI Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Reg. No. ZC281792).
- We work in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and sign a data processing agreement where needed. Read more about GDPR.
- We review our security practices regularly to keep up with new threats and guidance.
